SBS TORCH ON

SBS Torch-On is a versatile sheet membrane system used for roofing, terraces, podiums, and below-grade concrete. It can be installed using various methods depending on the substrate. On concrete, it is typically torched on, possibly over layers like vapor barrier and insulation. On metal, it's torched over similar layers, and on plywood, it can be either mechanically fastened or torched, following the same layered approach.

Metal

Metal flashings are installed at the base of building walls and over upstand walls to secure and protect the roofing membrane. They provide a crucial barrier against moisture intrusion and weathering, ensuring the membrane's longevity. Additionally, these flashings offer an aesthetically pleasing finish to the roof's perimeter, enhancing the building's overall appearance while ensuring a durable, weather-resistant seal between the roof and the walls.

Traffic Membrane

Traffic membranes are applied to concrete, wood, or metal substrates not over living spaces to waterproof and protect them from the elements and traffic. These membranes are designed to endure foot or vehicle traffic and are typically used on balconies, ledges, metal gutters, and suspended parkade levels. They provide durable, exposed surface protection, ensuring long-term integrity of the substrate beneath.

Paver Stones

Pre-cast pavers are installed on private or common roof decks above-ground to create a level walking surface. Set on pedestals, they offer an advantage over poured-in-place concrete toppings by allowing easy removal and storage during maintenance, cleaning, or re-roofing. This flexibility makes pavers a practical choice for roof decks, facilitating access to drains and simplifying future repairs or upgrades while maintaining a durable, accessible surface.
